Default problem with SRS airbag indicator

first off--- id like to say hi to everybody.... im new here---

well i have a problem...
here's the scenario-- i have a 2000 accord and recently acquired a set of leather seats from my friend-- he had a 98 accord ex coupe-- same as mine with the power seats and stuff... i took out my cloth seats and put the leather ones in... i connected the wire for electric motor and found that their was an extra wire coming out the floor ... and thought nothing of it.... then when i started the car the SRS light came on....so i looked at the old seats and saw that the the second wire was running to the seatbelt clip ... so i uninstalled the old seatbelt clips from both seats and installed them on the leather seats --- hooked everything up --- now i have no wires hanging.... started up and still SRS light is on... i tried unhooking the battary cable and still no luck---- any suggestions and or advice would be greatly appreciated

ps -- are their airbag sensors in the seat bealt clips.... <<< which i think is funny....
