we are pretty sure the 4th gen lude suspension does not bolt up whatsoever to 5th gens, but a 5th gen lude ona 5th gen accord? Either way if u wanan go 5-lug, the odyssey hub might be a cheaper option if it bolts up.
i thought 5th gen ludes were based on the 6th gen accord platform? somewhat different from the 4th/5th gen accord / 4th gen lude platform. they arent that similar to the 5th gen accord.
Already checked it out and I am swapping the entire front basically in order to do this. There are no negative effects from the swap at all.
If I were just swapping out the hubs then I was told there were some negative effects (can't remember what they were exactly) but nothing that can't be compensated for with a little work.
the 5th gen Lude was based on the 6th gen Accord but there weren't really that many changes made overall. The parts from a 6th gen can also be adapted to fit the 5th gen but there really isn't any reason to do that.
As for the Odyssey swap that was also considered as was the V6 suspension swap but both of those were financially unsound. I got my Prelude 5 lug swap parts for about $250 total out of a 98 Lude and the labor will be all me.
Planning on doing the swap later this summer (possibly during the off season actually) and I will post up some detailed photos when it is completed.
