I know I'm joining this conversation a little late. I promised myself not to comment, but the blood boils. Nightshade, I'm dissapointed in you. You should know that the Prelude fifth generation is the finest Prelude to have ever been built from the factory, and will drive circles around any stock Accord save the 2003 six speed. I drove 2 six speed Accords already. Although it is a very formidable car (and the best Accord ever), it doesn't have the go-cart reflex of my Prelude. The Accord is larger, the tires have a smaller aspect ratio (part way due to the suspension setup), and just isn't meant to be compared in any way shape or form. Now, mabe back in 1979 when the Prelude first came out it was just a smaller Accord. But times have changed my friend. C&D had Mario Andretti take the 1997 Type-SH out in the fall of 1996 on the twisties. Sort of speaks for itself.
