^hehe. I'm still on the fence. I admit I have a thing for the Prelude...I am not by nature a car person but the first car I ever fell for was(when it was new) my older sister's 86 Prelude Si (which was mine many yrs later). That said I think the exterior look of the 98-02 Accord coupes is dead sexy and maybe Honda just didn't want to try to take away Prelude sales but stock, it looks sporty but the ride is not.
Plus you are right about the insurance...my yearly premium would increase from 200-350 for a 98 or 99 Lude...plus the premium gas..the Prelude embodies what I enjoy about driving, not the fastest (dont care about speed) but the engine is a little growly (not much), seats wrap around you, easy to rev high and slam the car around corners.
I was even talking to my mom today about it, and she doesn't get it. She's like a car is a car, you get from one place to another so as long as it rides who cares? So I Am really conflicted on all points about what I Am going to do, I want my satisfaction now. =)
Oh for the Accord I dont want ricer ride =)..unless I find a Prelude tomorrow (and I'm not gunna look for one but I Am helping a friend buy a car..and if I accidently see one..I swear I will run out into traffic and put an end to my suffering) I need to order what I need and find somewhere to put it in ASAP. I can't take floaty oversteer any longer (Just say no!)
-End rant

Oh and here is my Accord (has tinted windows now)
