Costs $63 straight from Lynnwood Acura, and $22 for the mounting bracket and 19mm bushings. The Type S sway bar can be a bolt on job for any 2001+ Civic EX. For the DX, LX, HX not too sure on what they need. But the bar is a 19mm sway bar compared to the EX's 13mm. The install was quite simple only if i had all the tools at one place it would've been a 30 minutes-45 minute install, but instead took about 2 hours to find tools. The tools you need are: 12mm socket wrench, 14mm closed end wrench, 5mm allen wrench, jack and jackstands. The parts that need to be installed are: Type S Sway bar, 2 mounting brackets(left and right), 2 19mm bushings, and the endlink bolts that are already on the car. The install was quite simple, but since i didnt have any of the right tools, the endlinks were not tite enough and would make banging noises. After going to Schucks i got a set of closed end wrenchs and decided to tighten them. After tightening them the car was noticeably more stable at high speeds, was substantially quieter, and more stable around corners with somewhat less body roll then theyre already was. There also seems to be less tire squeel around corners from the car only using 1 side of the wheels on turns. It seems to hold real well and is a probably one of those mods i dont feel bad spending about $100 on. So for all 2001+ Civic EX owners that need help install it, you know who to ask.
