Blah. I posted this a looong time ago. But I lost the thread.

So, I'm slowing down to a red light, or stop sign. Just slowing down, and as I do this, I hear a knocking when I gently press the brake pedal. My CV joints have long gone out, but I somehow doubt that it's related to that. I've tried doing a couple 60-0 stops, since that's cured the squeaky brakes for me before, and it din't work Any ideas? I haven't read through that Helm's manual yet, so don't call me a dummy for not using it
