I know about using a paperclip or wire as a jumper, but from what i know, it only works on the older emmissions systems, the OBD 1, not the OBD2s. Called a buddy of mine who is a tech, he doesn't know because all he's used for the past 6 or 7 years is the actual OBD equipment that you plug in. He's going to check their online computer system at work tomorrow, but said that still might not give him a definite answer. Also, jumping the wrong 2 posts in that 16 pin connector blows out the dome light fuse. trust me, i found out the hard way!
