As it stands, the final drive on a stock GS-R is 4.4 to 1. I was just wondering with the final drive kits that they have out there that increase the ratio to 4.8-4.9, how much of a difference in acceleration do they make ? for example, I know that increasing your final drive from 4.4 to 4.9 will drop top speed down by about 15 mph, but how much time does it shave off of quarter mile runs ?
