Stroker kits usually come with pistons and rods too. You need different length rods because with a bigger stroke the pistons would hit the head if they didn't change the length of the rods. You often have to do some minor machine work as well such as notching the block, or if if its a crazy stroker kit you may need to add a deck plate and cylinder sleeves as well.
