Take an Accord sedan, get rid of the back doors, and you have an Accord coupe. When the only thing different is the doors it's still the same car, and the Accord is a family sedan.
Basically teh same and the same are relative terms. By definition, a coupe is not a sedan.
So I guess by your reasoning, a Mustang V6 is the same car as a Chevy Celebrity. Come on.
Could you also tell me of a manufacturer that doesn't share platforms.
