2K Accord Ex V6 Coupe.......the list:

1. Rattle coming from center console - dealer removed front part of interior until they traced it to a slightly large plastic mold on the right side. Filed down, rattle went away

2. Mark on the inside of the guage cluster panel glass - dealer installed new glass.

3. Sunroof rattle - dealer removed sunshade and fixed the issue (wires hanging down apparently).

4. Transmission - yes, now you all know someone who had the issue. Started at 1500 miles (yes, a brand new Honda with 1500 miles and a bad tranny). Brought to dealer......dealer rode in car with me 50 feet, it made the noise, they ordered a tranny. Tranny was on backorder because they were (at the time) trying to determine the fix. After being told "2 weeks" twice, I got "pissed off" (not really) enough to call Honda Customer Care. They gave me an extended warranty, and oddly enough the next day my tranny arrived. Dealer gave me a loaner and kept my Accord for a day.........replaced tranny is running fine, 34K miles later. I got a letter from Customer Care as proof of my extended warranty. I also got the letter extending the tranny warranty to 7/100.

I wont buy American, and I wont buy a Toyota. The only car makers Ive seen stand up for their customers and their products are Honda and Nissan. So Ill buy a Honda, Acura, Nissan or Infiniti.

Picking a new car is hella easier when you only have 4 brands to look at
