I just had my clutch and master cylinder replaced last week, when I was under the car over the weekend installing my cat-back I saw that there is alot of gray colored grease that has sprayed all over the place from the passenger side axle. Looks like its from the tranny side. Anyway I called my mechanic about it thinking maybe it had something to do with the clutch install he did and he told me it sounds like I need a new CV boot and might as well replace the axle while im at it. WTF? I didnt have any grease leaking before he worked on the car so why would it being doing it now if it wasnt something he did while he had the axles off to replace the clutch?
