FWD is "safer" in all weather than RWD, especially when driving like an asshole.

Given the overall driving ability of 95% of drivers in the United States, I would rather have them all driving FWDs as they pass me doing 90 mph on the freeway during a storm while riding on the cheapest tires that were on sale the week they finally changed their last set. At least they'll just fly off the road rather than pose any danger to me.
