I drove a '77 Olds 98 regency with a 4bbl 403ci motor (with over 150k miles) for over 2 years doing absolutely no maintenance but brakes and irregular oil changes--like once every 5-9k miles. Absolutely no problems, its proven to be far more reliable than my supra (not hard to do h: ) and my civic (which is saying something).
