really if u look at it since internet explorer is build-in to the OS it is dependent on explorer.exe to run.....and that bitch takes a good 20-30 megs of ram + each IE window that u have open takes space.... for example right now explorer.exe takes 21meg + IE window takes 28 meg (don't know why so much, usually its less) so u could say that to run IE you need 49 megs of ram.... thats a shit load if u ask me
