Rubbing under hard cornering
My current driving pattern in the mountains. Accelerate like crazy on straightaways (at least as much as my 127 hp will take me). Right turns - brake, downshift, and accelerate hard through the turn. Left turns - brake, baby the car through the turn. Why? Because my rear right tire (and ONLY the rear right tire) rubs under hard left turns. It's the most frustrating thing and prevents me from enjoying those mountain roads!
Anyways, I'm hoping I can get some advice here to help me enjoy my ride again!
My setup:
1994 Honda Civic EX Coupe with ABS
Springs : Eiback Prokit with 1.4" lowering in front, 1.2" lowering in back
Shocks : KYB AGX
Tires : 205/50/15
Rims : Konig Villain. I'm not sure about the offset (how do you find this out?) I looked on the rim and the only number I saw was 15/61/2jj. I assume the 15 is the diamter, but I'm not sure what the 61 or 2jj stands for.
Camber Correction:
Front : Ingalls Camber Kit
Back : Washers from Home Depot
When I bought the rims I unfortunately didn't know what offset meant so I don't know if the rims have the right offset for my car since
1) I don't know what the original offset was on the stock steelies
2) I don't know what the offset is on my current rims
3) I dont know what the correct offset should be given the amount my car is lowered.
I welcome any advise.
