Yeah, it _might_ go fast in a straight line... but we've got so many nice curvy roads here in New England
And I don't think the turbo would be as good for that application.
I think this sport attracts the impatient crowd (something about people that like going fast

But if you can resist the urge, that 2+ grand for a turbo is a good start to saving to drop a nice motor in, which is what I think I'm going for (b18c1?) And then maybe down the road, after you've got your torque and acceleration nailed, and your suspension and breaks are worked, then maybe a turbo...

It all depends on what size turbo you go with that will determine if it will be useful in curvy situations. A lot of the turbos out there such as the apex kit can hit full boost at 3-4k rpm, which will be at max power much sooner than you would get out of a B18 engine.
Torque means nothing if you are moving already.
