to get an idea of how small 1.8L of displacement, take a look at a 2L coke bottle. the 2L still have .2L more space than an engine with 1.8L displacement.

for increasing torque bigger the better, for high rpm, the smaller the better. it all depends on the tuning and how the engine is set up. a corvette Z06 with 5.7L of displacement will lose in the 1/4mi to a 1100cc Gixxer. :chuckles:
