painted cf looks like any other painted hood
its just painted

cf and fiberglass are different
fiberglass is light but prone to cracking unless you get that urethane-fiberglass hybrid thingy thats hella $$$$

a lot of cf hoods are made with fiberglass shells
cf is made in layers usually and to save in money they a lot of times add in a fiberglass layer

a full cf hood structurally stronger then fiberglass and depending probably lighter
