just try not to accelerate/keep foot off the pedal when you're going over puddles. Stepping on the gas causes the intake to suck up air...thus the possibility of sucking up water in puddles.

I had my Injen CAI for almost a year...and we went through numerous winter storms and rain here. NO PROBLEMS...
