I personally think the 98-00 aftermarket red/clears looks much better than the 01-02 ones with the clear on the bottom. It just seems to flow better.
i definately agree i always thought they flowed better
because when the 01-02s light up the lights are not equal looking( i mean how the inner and outer are not the same dimension)
and alot of the inner clear part is nonfunctional
on a similar note, it kind of reminds me of 4th gen tail lights
like mine 90-91, the signal and reverse was on top and then 92-93 they swaped it
i feel like on 6th gens they went back to the 4th gen shape
just updated and bigger
and finally the coupe didn't look like a sedan any more, just with 2 doors
