SE-R......disappointing. Less than the sum of it's parts.
SVT.......nicely done piece, let down by tall gearing and seats that are mounted too high.
WRX.....A peach, if you can take the turbo lag and the annoying delay on the 1-2 shift. is that the turbo or the computer?
GTI VR6 4 valve.....one of the tastiest engines anywhere! And the new 6 spd is much better than the VW norm. Spongy suspension and lagging electronic throttle let it down.
Celica GT-S....My pick. It just felt right the moment I got underway. Light, lean, buzzy, boomy. Great steering, handling and brakes. Only the lack of torque is an issue, but even it felt better at part-throttle than my Lude.
