I used to have 6th gen accord too. The problem I had are minor:
-the sunroof rattling
-build quality issue (side molding comes off for no reason)
-light in the clock

I don't think that many Hondas have tranny problems but keep in mind to check your car carefully though. At least you have precautions.

I have a friend what at the time bought a 98 V6 auto. He test drove it and everything went well. Even though we knew that there's tranny problem, he thought it's only a minor problem and it's a honda , supposed to be reliable. After few months, tranny starting to act weird, even till now. The tranny likes to 'jump' between shifts, especially when it's still cold. And soemtimes it even stalls. I'm not saying that honda is not reliable, but just be careful and check everything closely. I think Honda is still one of the most reliable car company out there, but you can't deny that there are still going to be some lemon honda.
