I disagree. B18c5 (or r) might be what 1500$ more than a b18c1 swap... going rate for b18c1 is around 3100$ while i have seen many b18c-r's for under 4600$. So your telling me that wth $1500 you can take a b18c1 and add an LSD, have better gearing, Higher compression, Friction Coated internals, better flowing Head, Intake Mani, Headers (and i forget the other differences). If you can, then more power to you. 2nd, Resale value on type r parts are higher than gsr parts. So when it comes time to upgrade you parts People will be much more inclined to buy type r cams, valves, retainers, pistons, etc over gsr parts so you end up spending less for the aftermarket parts you will buy. Im not here to argue with you, I just dont like when people say the b18c5 is not worth the money when in reality your getting alot for what you pay.

Oh i forgot to add, You also get a red valve cover

oh well, thats just my opinion
