If It's in the Soundblaster Live! series. it won't work with Windows XP to my knowledge. I'm not sure if you have that, but I have one and when I tried using it with XP, it just would not work at all, new drivers, generic drivers, nothing. I bought a 12 dollar one from CompUSA, and it's still going to this day. I gotta upgrade soon, though. soo as I get a new mainboard.
