I (and probably most folks on this board) didn't know that Skunk2 offered various different spring rates for their coilovers. That is one of the main reasons why they suggest the Ground Controls over the Skunks.

Another is that Ground Controls' springs are made by Eibach, a reputable company known for making high quality springs.

The reason why some suggest the Eibachs or the Neuspeeds is because if you don't really need the height adjustability, progressively wound lowering springs (as opposed to linear) offer near stock ride (not as bouncy or harsh) compared to coilovers that are pretty harsh even though you don't lower the car much.
