Before you go stereotyping me as a person that gives misinformation about Bridgeport all I did was agree with Matt that in years past Bridgeport has had a very high murder rate...something that gives it the reputation that it has. And when have I ever implied the murder facts from the past as today's fact...I have always said they are from years past and never implied they were from today. I will be the first to admit that Ganim has done a good job making Bridgeport a better city, although he has not done it on the right side of the law. But I work here every day and there is always some crime going on in the downtown area where I work.

So do not say we have misinformation...we both work in Bridgeport and see it first hand. You may not like what you hear, but that does not mean we are making it up. You should see the areas we have to drive through just to get to Seaside Park where we play softball every summer. I do not feel comfortable parking there for fear my car will get stolen and there is always police there for some reason or another. These are not misconceptions at all but first hand experiences dealing with the thugs of Bridgeport.
