i can think of 5 places that have worse murder ratios than bridgeport, and this is just off the top of my head. newark, NJ; east st. louis, IL; detroit, MI; los angeles, CA; miami, FL. i'm sure there are many more. i have actual numbers to back this up.

edit => i think i should say st. louis, MO; i can't find figures on east st. louis, IL; but, as far as i know, it's up there.
I am to lazy to pull up actual facts, but notice how I said "Actually I don't know where it stands now, but I think it was #1 for quite sometime". Which makes this not a fact! Stop being so damn defensive.... And as Tom said it was very high considering the size of Bridgeport. So I am off by a little... shoot me!!!
