There is a rod next to the actual shift rod, they show a picture of it. The exact words are "Use a new spring pin to attach the shift rod to the transaxle". I mean, I would expect there not to be any typo's in a repair manual, but I know what you mean. The actual shift rod does go to the tranny,I know but there is another rod next to it. Anyone know how to decipher this?
