I like Glock. They are durable, they are lightweight, expensive, but you pay for quality with handguns. You can break a glock down and clean it and put it back together ( with a little knowhow) Also, the glock is not gonna have as much kick as the sigma. This gun will have a safety, unless you are purchasing a firearm from a police officer that is government property (which you can do)
For the shooting range, it varies, some charge by the hour, some charge a flat fee of 10 or 12 dollars for as long as you want. Bullets for your nine are $12-$15 depending on brand for a box of 50rounds.
If you don't mind me asking, what are you purchasing a gun for? Are you over 21? If not, you cannotpurchase a handgun before you turn 21.
