I would suggest 2 12's. I have 2 12in Pioneer IMPP's and they have a tighter "pop" similar to 10's but have the deepness of regular 12's. Perfect for any kind of bass and rather cheap ($200ish)

I've also had 2 12in Fosgate XLC's and they were more of a deep bass (also around/under $200)
