Girlfriend owns a 1994 Honda Civic DX, just had her 90K service done by a VERY good shop with lots of experience and many happy customers including myself. However, she went to check her oil level after having all this done, and if you push the dipstick all the way in and check the level it shows over. If you push the dipstick in to where it stops, not clicking it in all the way, it shows right between the dots... Does anyone know which is correct for her car? She has no owners manual, the car was purchased used or maby DX's dont come with owners manuals, hahaha. Anyway, my `02 RSX-S shows to put the dipstick all the way in and thats what I thought you were suppose to do on all cars. Its just hard to belive this guy would overfill the car with oil, but I guess mistakes happen, I just wanted to check before letting some out...
