There goes the infamous "long gears are good for turbo" false perception. Long gears suck ass. I have an Ex and guess what? I am getting shorter gears. You're going to spit out your false perceptions and on what you 'hear' but I can guarantee that if you put my 'new' tranny versus EX vx DX ... the outcome my tranny > EX > DX

Longer gears give you a false perception of being quicker because it's easier to get traction. Shorter gears will always outaccelerate longer gears given no traction issues.

'Longer gears hold boost better' is bull$hit. Boost is built by engine load not speed.

I have good sources to back me up, do you?
Wow, I didn't know. (Not that I've told people longer gears are better for turbo or anything) I've just been hearing the same thing here and there, especially on honda-tech.

Thanks for clearing that up.
