Now thats a funny statement. Carbon fiber is a completely different material and nothing like fiberglass. I have worked with both and can tell you that their qualities and properties are completely unalike. And carbon fiber was originally used as a weight saver and not for looks. The only reason it looks good is the clear coat they put on it. I dont know of any places for pics but if done right it will look exactly like another body piece that has been painted. If im not mistaken F-1 bodies are completely carbon fiber as well as Adam Saruwatari's NSX. You can get all kinds of pics of those painted. Go with it if you like it.
