Ever pee in the toilet and have it spray back on your leg or something, it's not often but what's more clean? Pissing and it spraying on your leg and then walking away... or peeing down the shower drain and then washing your entire (hopefully) body with soap and water?
And my girl does it to! AND sometimes we shower together... no we dont pee on each other... but we've come close to it. 
But we wash anyway, so there's no problem.
