nope, GS is pretty much the same as SE. basically, the GS replaced the SE trim level.

ok ok.. here goes:

RS, LS, GS/SE: b18b1, 142 hp 94-95, 140 hp 96-01
GS-R: b18c1, 170hp
Type R: b18c5, 195hp

RS: base model.. no sunroof, no ABS, power locks only on sedan.. unpainted side mouldings and unpainted mirrors.
LS: step up, sun roof, ABS, side mouldings unpainted 94-95.
GS/SE: basically GS-R without VTEC.
GS-R: fully loaded with VTEC. strut tower bar, slightly thicker sway bars.
Type R: lots of differences to name. but you all should know basically what it has.

some differences between the years:
98+ has slightly sleeker fascia, different rear bumper, and different taillights.
96+ has a slight change to the side view mirrors.

oh yeah, valve cover changed on 96+ b18b1, as well.
