My question to you is this, "why do you keep on complaining and rambling about a car that's way above average than most cars out there?" I don't post much anymore, but I hear your rambling posts here and there. Do you really expect a daily driven car to stay in its pristine condition throughout the years?!?! NO. I have 76K miles on my 98 Accord that I got in Oct of 97. Sure it has some rattles, but it's still smooth and rides nice. The potholes, weathering, dings and chips are all unavoidable external factors so you should just live with it.
h: The more you think about it, the worse it gets.
I'm not complaining or trying to bitch; and I used the word "rambling" as a sort of self-serving humor factor, but I guess you missed the point; anyway, my point was that I have read posts from folks over in superhonda.com with the EXACT SAME issues---one such lad went as far as labeling his post "I Think My Accord Is Falling Apart..." and listed similar occurances as I do here....Im just showing concern with regard to the mileage and external stimuli exposed to the vehicle; Im just discussing something; not trying to get under your skin personally or anyone else's here....just discussing something, and seeing if at 39K, others have had similar driving characteristics with their 6 gen two doors; I know I need to "live with" the dings, scratches dents and weathering....but it's okay every now and then to vent about something, no? Isnt that what we're all about here----sharing feelings, thoughts, and, even at times, "ramblings"....just wanted others who could relate to the----oh how was it one of the other members put it----"beat down" feeling their cars may be exhibiting to comment a bit, too.
