just a quick word of advice:

if u know your starter is about to go, don't put it off like i did. the other night, it finally turned over, but the damn starter wouldn't shut off. i pulled out the key, and it was STILL going. next there was smoke and a horrible burning smell. i had to disconnect the battery, but was laughing at my own stupidity for not replacing it earlier.

anyway, it's a pretty easy thing to replace, just two bolts and two wires to it
