i do agree fit and fininsh is not what it used to be. it has been a steady decline ever since they stopped making them in japan. my parents have owned a 91 SE, 92 EX, 95 EX, 96 EX, and 2 99 V6 EXs and there is a noticeable decline. i wonder how the 7Gs are.

Here are your answers:
I DO NOT drive hard at all----this car is completely BABIED....I sometimes annoy passengers because I drive so slow...I dont beat on this engine at all; I dont think I have ever driven her past 70...this is not the culprit.
I do proper maintenance; I bring her in for almost every scheduled Honda notice (aside from small, inbetween "37 1/2 K" kind of nonsense, you know....)
I had a 94 EX Coupe before this one, and I dont recall if it felt as bad, fit and finish wise....my father still owns a 97 Special Edition Sedan out in Vegas, with about 50 or so K on the clock, and aside from the horrible vibration that four-banger gives off, the car seems pretty solid still.
