Your stock low beam wiring is designed to handle 4.07 amps of draw.

So if your new 9005 bulbs draw more then that you could have a problem.

Devide the wattage of the bulb by the operating voltage and you will get the amperage. For example 55 watts (9006) devided by 13.5 volts = 4.07 amps.

You could also do a final test using a multimeter. If it draw slightly more for example 4.25 amps it shouldn't be a problem but I would consider using a relay to power the lights.
