No no, you just drill holes through the car. The bar has like plates on the ends of its feet, you line it all up and drill holes to match up to that. Go on the other side of where you drilled and place this thick metal plate on it with the bolts going into it, go inside the car to put the nuts on the bolt and tighten it. There is no welding or cutting needed.
take pics please...and i know they have bolts..but i would reinforce that buy a little tack welding..bitch would never fail you.
