I got a quick question , i'm doing the 9005 conversion and i've read on here about removing a clip from the 9006 socket to allow the 9005 bulb to fit in the 9006 harness w/o cutting the small guides inside. Can any one elaborate on this cuz i don't see a clip in my harness.

and if i'm running 9005 nokya arctic whites in there am i asking for trouble w/ melting harness?
