The only reason the casualties are being made out to be so high and outrageous is because the media got ahead of itself and began to think that because we were moving swiftly through the desert w/little to no resistance that the rest of the war would go just as easy. Total bodycount is what, 39 confirmed? I'd say that's not a rediculous number considering we've been at war since last wednesday and the next day we sent in ground troops. That number is for the coalition, including the grenade attack by our soldier, the car accident deaths of two soldiers and the helicopter crash that killed 12 all by itself.
