I also have the 712s and am very happy with them. Very good grip and pretty quiet at a cheaper than most tires price. From my trips into Wisconsin the highways there are some of the best i've been on and many are new from last year. When you get into Milwaukee it's no worse than Chicago. Drive up there to go to Road America a couple times a year and always enjoy the drive up there.
