The kumhos don't wear out fast at all. I had a set on my 17's and i had about 10K miles on them and they still had about half tread left....i don't drive nice on em either. I tore up a set of nitto450's when i first got the rims in about 7k miles...those tires SUCK they randomly blow out and get run flats. The 195/205 size kumho ecsta 712's have good tire wear rating 340AA i think. I got my 205/50/15's on tirerack for 58 a tire, i'm sure the 195's are even cheaper.
Actually, the 195's are more expensive, because they are an odd size that no one usually buys. 205's are $2-3 cheaper!
