You can't use an obd1 harness in an obd2 car, it just doesn't work. Your best bet is to get a 99-00 SI ecu and you use the stock EX harness. You also need the obd2 injectors, distributor, and alternator. You will also need to get a kit to make that transmission work. Basically, your getting an motor that can be up to 15 years old and your going to spend just as much getting it in the car as you would spend on a 99-00 Si motor.
dont forget u need to get the cable clutch converter and special mounts for the tranny. u needa 99+ si mount for the drivers side. im not sure bout the rear mount.... if anything, use a 99+ si.

imo, the sir-I motor is not the best choice. the cheapest way is never the best. if you spend a little more now, you'll save a lot of headaches down the road. the little things of having an old motor will .05&.10 u to death (ie replacing all maintainence item etc.) remember, that motor is from 1991 or older
