H22A would be a more desirable/reliable power option. Plus its always nice to get rid of an auto tranny.

Whenever anybody brings up the H-series question I always have to throw in my handling rant, so here goes.... Keep in mind that the H22 weighs over 150lbs more than your d-series, thats like a fullsize dude riding on your hood. Civics are inherently front weight biased, and the H-series just makes it worse. Your car wont handle as well, and will plow like a bastard. Not to say it can't handle, but it can't handle as well a s a d/b-series civic. But if you just want to go fast, go ahead and get the H22. Theres no replacement for displacement :fawk: :thumbup:
