and you still haven't ruled out the possibility that their maybe something wrong with your car or maybe it's just general wear and tear from you dumping on the gas all the time...
and i have yet to find a car that will go into first gear at that speed... if you know of one, tell him to change his trans...
Do you feel smart? You're the guy who said it was the damn rev limiter :dunno: Mapping can be different for each gear. Maybe it's never redlined in second, I just never noticed it. There's nothing wrong with my car or transmission...I have her serviced every so often at the Honda dealership so they can check everything out and I have friends who have had cars with bad trannies. It's obvious when they start going.
