I went to tirerack.com and compared them with the Michelkin Pilots, Kumho Ecsta Supra 712s, and Bridgestone Potenza S-03s. I chose the Yokohama AVS ES100s over the others because of the combination of good ride comfort and decent wet traction. I would have chosen the Bridgestone S-03s over the AVS ES100s, but they cost more, and I don't know if the ride comfort is as good. I kinda figured I'm not going to race, or take full advantage of the S-03s in my Accord, so I chose the AVS ES100s for more practical reasons, and to save money. If you want to save more money, you can consider the Kumho Ecsta Supra 712s too, since I've heard nothing but good things about those too.
I was thinking about the Yoko ES100's as well. I'm not sure if the S-03's price commands the difference between the two.
