You shouldn't do it when the engine's cold, yes. You shouldn't do it if you have a rotary engine, correct. But when it's warm, woopdee do. Granted it's more wear, just like 6000RPM will be more wear on the engine than 4000RPM. But there's nothing dictating that it's disasterous, people do it all the time.
i said you *Shouldnt*..... thats ALL i said.... you go ahead and call Honda or Nissan, and record the conversation stating that Revving past redline is perfectly fine and that you *should* do it..... then ill close my mouth... otherwise... all im saying is you *shouldnt* do it..... thats all.
